The University "Fehmi Agani" in Gjakova (UFAGJ) was visited by Prof. Dr. Venelin Terziev from Angel Kanchev University of the Republic of Bulgaria, with whom the state of education and social policy in Europe and the Balkans was discussed.

Rector Prof. Ass. Dr. Artan Nimani welcomed Professor Terziev at the University "Fehmi Agani" in Gjakova and expressed gratitude for the interest in cooperation in the academic field, and the discussion on the state of education and social policy in Europe and the Balkans. Rector Nimani said that the challenges in the education system in the country are great, new ways of management, preparation of students for the European system of standards and values, should be a priority, because the education system must act quickly in training and training of staff He also expressed his readiness to offer cooperation in areas of special interest to our university, for the publication of scientific papers of academic staff in prestigious journals, such as Scopus and Web of Science.

Professor Terziev shared Bulgaria's experiences in the education system and expressed readiness to cooperate with the UFAG in drafting joint projects within Erasmus + and scientific publications.

At the end, Rector Nimani handed a letter of appreciation to Professor Terziev for his contribution and presentation of the state of education and social policy in Europe and the Balkans. Professor Terziev also donated a book to Professor Nimani.

Professor Terziev is a lecturer at several universities in Bulgaria, the region and the world, has defended two master's and 3 doctoral theses, has published hundreds of scientific papers, has participated in projects in over 50 international conferences, and his field of action is training of the workforce and staff for the European market, as well as the transition from the monistic system to that of European values ​​and standards.
