The Rector of the University ‘’Fehmi Agani’’ in Gjakova, Prof. Ass.Dr. Drilon Bunjaku has participated in the publication of the project results ‘’The Strengthening of the University Autonomy and Increase

of Accountability and Transparency in the Western Balkan Universities’’ (STAND), organized by the University of Montenegro in the city of Podgorica.This event aims the strengthening of the

University autonomy and the improvement of the responsibility and transparency in the Western Balkan Universities.

Veselin Mićanović, Vice-rector for Teaching, and Dijana Vučković, member of the management board of the University of Montengro, opened the session of discussion regarding the latest

developments in regards to the University autonomy.

After that, the discussions carried on upon the latest developments in regards to the University

Autonomy in the University of Montenegro as well as the Review of the Project Budget, which has included figures such as Dragana Ćetković, Director of the Department for the Higher Education in

the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation, and Dijana Vučković, member of the management board of the University of Montenegro, as well as Veselin Mićanović, Deputy Rector for

Teaching.

The event stressed the progress made in regards to STAND project and encouraged the dialogue for further improvements in the University governance in the region. After the sessions, all partners had

the opportunity to exchange thoughts and offer suggestions to continue collaborations of this kind.
