Professors of the "Fehmi Agani" University in Gjakova, lecturers in Sofia, Bulgaria
As part of the mobility projects under the Erasmus+ program, professors from UFAGJ are staying at the Medical University of Sofia. They were welcomed by the staff of this university, the Office for International Cooperation, and the Vice-Rector for Teaching at the Medical University of Sofia, who pledged that this cooperation will continue to be supported and expanded to even more practical levels, while also continuing the research collaboration between the staff of our universities.
Prof. Assist. Dr. Dafinë Ibrahimi Kaçuri delivered lectures on Rehabilitation and Leadership as integral parts of the specific fields of her qualification. Prof. Assoc. Dr. Faton Hoxha, through his expertise and qualifications, focused on Diabetes Mellitus and the diabetic foot through the ICF and GAS approach as tools for the treatment of patients with type 2 diabetes.
Meanwhile, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Antigona Ukëhaxhaj, as an expert in Public Health, lectured and shared her experience regarding air pollution in Kosovo as a public health issue.
During this one-week visit, our staff participated in many activities within the Physiotherapy and Public Health programs, continuing to build bridges between institutions, professionals, and our respective countries in order to pursue further joint projects.
