The senior legal advisor from the Institution of the Ombudsperson in Gjakova, Mark Kaqinari, has held a lecture for the students of the Faculty of Medicine. During the lecture, Kaqinari spoke about the history and the foundation of the Institution of the Ombudsperson, as well as for the legal framework in force and the international standards that ensure the protection and the respect of human rights.

Present in this event, apart from the students were also the Rector of the University ‘’Fehmi Agani’’ in Gjakova, Prof. Ass. Dr. Drilon Bunjaku, and Vice-rector for Teaching and Students’ Affairs Dafinë Kaçuri, the Vice-rector for Research and Scientific Work, Prof. Ass. Prof. Arben Boshnjaku, The General Secretary, Linda Dula-Halilabazi, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Haxhi Kamberi, as well as other faculty representatives.

The students had the opportunity to make questions and to converse with Mr. Kaqinari, having thus a worthwhile opportunity to deepen further their knowledge on the role and the function of the Ombudsperson, and the human rights in national and international level.
