On 23.05.2025 in Gjakova, the Faculty of Medicine held the scientific international conference titles ‘’Healthcare through Multidisciplinary Approach’’. In the conference participated experts of different fields of medicine from Germany, Italy, Turkey, Bosna, North Macedonia, Albania, University Clinical Kosovo Hospital Service, Regional Hospitals and Primary Health Care.

In the name of the Rector of the University ‘’Fehmi Agani’’ in Gjakova, Prof. Ass. Dr. Drilon Bunjaku, the Vice-rector for Teaching and Student Affairs Prof. Ass. Dr. Dafinë Kaçuri held a greeting speech, on which occasion she emphasized the importance of the conference in the scientific and professional aspect. The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Haxhi Kamberi, in his speech wished a warm welcome to all the participants of this conference, highlighting the importance of the conference topic, and thanking the Rectorate as well as the Steering Council for supporting and organizing this conference, and likewise, thanking the Organizational Council and the students for their tireless work for the organization of this international conference.

In the conference, 30 participants presented their scientific works, and the presentations woke a huge interest in the audience. There also took place a fruitful discussion in relation to the multidisciplinary approach in healthcare, different findings and the application of new methods in medicine. At the end of the conference it was also discussed for building bridges of cooperation between the University ‘’Fehmi Agani’’ in Gjakova with the national and international institutions, which were present in the conference.
