Meeting of the Quality Assurance Commission at the Faculty of Medicine for the Evaluation of Academic Performance

The Quality Assurance Commission at the Faculty of Medicine held a working meeting on 05.03.2026, which was also attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine. The purpose of the meeting was to define and analyze indicators for evaluating the faculty’s performance.

During the meeting, key performance indicators were discussed, including student attendance in the teaching process, the student–professor ratio, the number of enrolled students compared to applications, the structure of courses in accredited programs, as well as the development of curricula and teaching plans of study programs. The number of scientific publications of the academic staff for the years 2024–2026 and the percentage of staff with advanced academic degrees were also addressed.

During the meeting, the importance of continuous monitoring of these indicators was emphasized in order to improve quality in teaching, scientific research, and academic management, in accordance with the recommendations of the Kosovo Accreditation Agency.
