Deputy Prime Minister and Minister Gërvalla-Schwarz holds a lecture and talks with the students of the University "Fehmi Agani" in Gjakova

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora Mrs. Donika Gërvalla-Schwarz today visited the University "Fehmi Agani" in Gjakova, where she held a lecture and had a conversation with the students of the University on the topic: "Kosovo: Challenges, opportunities and vision for the future".

Initially, Rector Bunjaku opened the meeting by thanking Minister Mrs. Gërvalla who has chosen to visit University "Fehmi Agani" in Gjakova (UFAGJ) and share her precious time to talk with students, academic and administrative staff about a very current and multidimensional topic.

In his speech, Rector Bunjaku informed about the progress, elevation of the University and the achievements in the field of internationalization and networking of the University. Among other things, he emphasized that UFAGJ has a clear vision and remains open to joint research projects and expansion of networking in the international field, including the Albanian diaspora. Despite the clear vision, it is more than understandable that we have challenges, but together we can overcome them by turning them into opportunities and together we can achieve even greater successes and progress, Rector Bunjaku underlined, among other things.

Then, Minister Gërvalla held a lecture on the general challenges, especially in the field of foreign affairs and the integration of the diaspora, the achievements and the vision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in relation to the general topics and its connection in higher education.

After the lecture, the discussions with the Minister continued, where the students, academic and administrative staff had the opportunity to ask questions and closely discuss the challenges, opportunities and students’ vision for the issues related to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

At the end of the discussion, the minister advised all girls and women to be A strong voice, advocates in decision-making and policy-making, as well as to continue to be educated and make progress in the fields they have chosen to study.

The visit and conversation of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora Mrs. Donika Gërvalla- Schwarz was rated very highly by the students and everyone present.
