On the occasion of World Physiotherapy Day, the Kosovo Chamber of Physiotherapists orzanized an online lecture on the topic “The Role of Physiotherapy in the Process of Healthy Ageing.”

The lecturer at this event was Prof. Ass. Dr. Arben Boshnjaku Pt., a teacher of Gerontology at the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Social Sciences at UFAGJ.

Prof. Boshnjaku explained the importance of the concept of “Healthy Ageing” and the role of multidisciplinary and multidimensional work in achieving the goal of healthier ageing and increased longevity. He also discussed the main health problems faced by elderly people in our country, along with the most effective treatment and management approaches.
