Implementation of Quality Week at the Faculty of Medicine

In accordance with the recommendations of the Accreditation Agency, upon the initiative of the Quality Coordinator, Blerte Hyseni, and with the approval of the Faculty management, the Faculty of Medicine implemented Quality Week, which encompassed all currently accredited programs, including bachelor-level programs such as Nursing, Physiotherapy, Public Health, as well as the master’s program in Health Management.

Quality Week was organized as a structured process for evaluating and analyzing the level of achievement of competencies within the study programs and their respective courses for each accredited program, in alignment with learning outcomes and quality assurance standards in higher education. During this process, assessment mechanisms were reviewed, the alignment between planned competencies and students’ actual achievements was examined, and areas requiring improvement were identified.

The Faculty of Medicine remains committed to implementing the recommendations of the Accreditation Agency and to the continuous improvement of quality in teaching, assessment, and the development of study programs, with the aim of ensuring alignment between the competencies acquired by students and national and international higher education standards.
