Students of the Faculty of Medicine at the University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova, from the Public Health program, are continuing to carry out their practical training as part of an interinstitutional agreement at the “Konaku” nursing home. The practical sessions are conducted within the course Health of the Elderly Population, led by Assistant Arta Dalipi Shabani.

During this period, students are engaged in various activities with the residents of the institution, including organizing recreational activities, providing social support, and assisting with their daily care. This experience enables students to develop professional skills, empathy, and direct communication with the elderly. They are also becoming closely acquainted with the challenges and responsibilities associated with working in social care institutions.

This experience is considered an important step in preparing and achieving the necessary professional competencies for their future careers in this field.
