As part of the module “Disasters and Emergency Management,” third-year students of the Public Health program, under the supervision of Argjiro Alija and Muhamet Kadrija, on 12.05.2026, carried out a practical learning activity at the Firefighters Center.

During their visit to the center, the students were welcomed by the director of the center, who presented the organization and functioning of emergency services, operational equipment, and response procedures in cases of disasters and various emergencies.

The practical component of the course for Public Health students was organized with the aim of connecting theoretical knowledge with institutional practice in the field of emergency management and civil protection.

The students had the opportunity to closely learn about the challenges and responsibilities of firefighters, as well as the importance of institutional coordination in managing emergency situations.
