Prof. Asoc. Dr. Antigona Ukëhaxhaj, Professor in the Faculty of Medicine in UFAGJ, by invitation from the Albania Academy of Sciences, and in cooperation with the University George Mason in USA, and college Ramazini in Italy, participated in the third International Conference of Public Health and Environment, held in Tirana, on June 30, and July 1, 2025.

At this international Scientific Conference, Prof. Antigona presented the paper entitled: "Assessment of the Health Impact of Air Pollution in Kosovo", which addresses the air pollution situation in Kosovo, the role of institutions in this issue, Air Quality indices and standards, life expectancy, years of life lost by Kosovo citizens and the burden of mortality from Chronic Non-Communicable Diseases.

Participating in this event represents a valuable opportunity for professional and scientific experience exchange, and for the promotion of science and higher education in international platforms.
