On 12.12.2025, representatives of the “Fehmi Agani” University in Gjakova, including the Dean, Vice-Dean, study program holders and the representative of the Quality Assurance Office, participated in an information meeting organized by the Kosovo Accreditation Agency (KAA), regarding Post-Accreditation Procedures and Recommendations Implementation Plans.

During this meeting, the importance of implementing Regulation No. 04/2025 on Monitoring and Post-Accreditation Procedures was emphasized, as well as the necessity of implementing the improvement plans submitted to KAA upon accreditation or re-accreditation of study programs and higher education institutions.

KAA representatives for Monitoring and Post-Accreditation Procedures presented to the attendees the methodology, deadlines and main steps of the post-accreditation procedures, analyzed the data extracted from the implementation plans of the submitted recommendations and provided concrete instructions for the implementation of these procedures in practice.

Based on the discussions held during the meeting, it was emphasized that higher education institutions should pay special attention to the Improvement Plans (Recommendation Implementation Plans) for each study program, continuously monitoring the implementation of recommendations given by international experts in the accreditation/reaccreditation reports. It was also emphasized that the report on the implementation of these recommendations will be a necessary part of the application file for accreditation/reaccreditation of study programs and institutional reaccreditation. Also, this plan with the progress achieved in implementation will be required during post-accreditation visits by experts to the HEI.
