oday, on 29 December 2025, the regular meeting of the Council for Science at the University “Fehmi Agani” in Gjakova was held on the premises of the Rectorate.

During the meeting, the following agenda items were discussed:

Approval of the minutes of previous meetings;

Discussion on point 2.2 of Article 16 of the Regulation on Scientific Research;

Discussion on the provisions referring to the financing of scientific publications by administrative staff;

Review of requests for financing scientific publications and conferences;

Review of applications for “Researcher of the Year” and “Young Researcher of the Year”;

Miscellaneous.

The meeting was chaired by the Chair of the Council, Prof. Dr. Ilmi Hoxha. The following members were present at the meeting:
Prof. Ass. Dr. Ferdi Kamberi, Prof. Ass. Dr. Shemsi Haziri, Ass. Hana Qurdina, the representative of the Office for Quality Assurance, Qëndresa Bardhoshi, as well as the representative of the Legal Office, Erlina Rizvanolli Meqa.
