The Faculty of Medicine at the University ‘’Fehmi Agani’’ in Gjakova marks the World Physiotherapy Day
In regards to World Physiotherapy Day, the Faculty of Medicine at the University ‘’Fehmi Agani’’ in Gjakova organized a webinar for the students of the three generations of Physiotherapy. This activity was held on September 9, and was focused on the identification of the red flags in the patients with spine pain, a topic of a peculiar importance in the clinical practice of Physiotherapy.
Selected lecturer for this topic was Burim Gjinovci, PT OMPT, a specialist in the Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, clinical educator, and the only Albanian candidate as International instructor in the Association IMTA (International Maitland Teachers Association). This activity was highly appreciated by the students and the academic staff, emphasizing the importance of developing their knowledge in patient care with musculoskeletal problems.
The Faculty of Medicine remains committed in providing such opportunities for advanced education and professional development for our students, with the purpose of preparing them as future successful and informed physiotherapists.
