On November 8 and 9, 2024, Prof.Asoc.Dr. Faton T.Hoxha from the Faculty of Medicine of the University ‘’Fehmi Agani’’ in Gjakova participated as invited lecturer in the 8^th International Congress of Trauma and Emergency Surgery (ACTES 2024) in Tirana.

In this Congress he presented his and his collaborators’ study by UFAGJ and the Abdominal Surgery Clinic in Prishtina, Kosovo, with the title: Colorectal Cancer in developed countries, call for action for the Kosovars’ raise of awareness, our experience’’ which was highly appreciated by the Congress organizators. This study expresses the actual state of colon and rectum cancer, which is treated through surgery in the Kosovar surgery. This type of cancer is increasing each day more, and the population’s needs for awareness for this problem are more than necessary.
