Today, on 14 November 2025, a work meeting was held at “Fehmi Agani” University in Gjakova between the Rector of the University, Prof. Assoc. Dr. Drilon Bunjaku, the Head of the Didactic Center for Excellence in Teaching, Prof. Dr. Sindorela Doli, the Acting Secretary General, Nita Pruthi, and the Acting Head of the Quality Assurance Office, Qëndresa Bardhoshi.

The meeting was organized to address the recommendations of external experts and the results of the surveys distributed by the Quality Assurance Office, which identified the need for additional training for academic staff in order to enhance performance in teaching and learning.

During the meeting, the update of the Regulation of the Didactic Center for Excellence in Teaching was evaluated as a priority, along with aligning it with contemporary best practices and fully functionalizing the Center’s governing mechanisms. The importance of holding regular meetings with the Center’s Board was also emphasized to ensure continuous coordination and approval of planned activities.

A key point of discussion was the launch of the call for trainers, considering the willingness of UFAGJ staff to contribute to this initiative, as well as the potential cooperation with external partners for delivering high-quality trainings. It was assessed that engaging both internal and external trainers will help establish a sustainable and inclusive professional development program.

The Head of the Center committed to continuing intensive work toward the implementation of the Center’s activities and the creation of new support platforms for academic staff, aiming to improve the quality of teaching and learning at “Fehmi Agani” University in Gjakova.

In conclusion, it was agreed that all activities, initiatives, and outcomes of the Didactic Center for Excellence in Teaching will be regularly published on the Center’s official webpage, with the aim of ensuring transparency, informing staff, and promoting the continuous work of the Center.
